The RSS Reader Winner...

...should be Microsoft. Put the capability into outlook, and big business' enterprise solution is solved.

People probably expect it already....so there's no way to profit from it. Besides, it won't move the needle at that mess of a company. That's a bummer.

Why put it in Outlook? Outlook is already a pig. Try the Microsoft Live Toolbar, that includes a beta version of Onfolio. Onfolio does much more than a regular reader, allowing you to save clips, pages and whole sites.

The reader belongs in the browser.

You are right - at the personal level. However, at the enterprise level it is too difficult for rollout, and people in business just have too much to do.

I think I am an exception to the rule, I'm a loyal bloglines user.
